The "How's"
Who
I’m Andrew, the person behind London Web Nerd. I’ve spent years building, fixing, hosting, and maintaining WordPress websites, long enough to have strong opinions about caching, plugin bloat, server setups, and why “just install another plugin” is not always the answer. Over time, I realised that building a website and keeping it running properly should not be treated as two separate jobs. A great looking website on slow, unreliable hosting is still going to cause you problems. And good hosting is much better when the person managing it actually understands the website sitting on top of it. That is why London Web Nerd exists: to give you one friendly, technically minded person who can handle both the website and the hosting without bouncing you between a developer, a hosting company, and a support inbox that may or may not be haunted.
How
I keep things simple, honest, and most importantly human. From the first message to the finished website, and even eighteen months later when a plugin update decides to cause chaos at the worst possible time I’m here to help keep things running properly. There are no account managers, no confusing ticket queues, and no “let me escalate that internally” black holes. If something needs explaining, I’ll explain it in plain English. No jargon soup. No acronyms thrown around just to make websites and hosting sound more mysterious than they need to be. For projects that need a little extra brains, I also work with a small, trusted network of designers and developers. That means you still get a personal, direct service, but with the right people involved when the job calls for it. If that sounds like the kind of person you want building, fixing, or looking after your website, the contact form is just below. Tiny hint. Not very subtle.
