London Titans is a wheelchair basketball team based in Stanmore, London. Their website had fallen badly out of date. It slow, hard to update, and missing basic security, and the club was running its day-to-day email through a personal Gmail and Hotmail accounts, instead of its own @londontitans.org address.

As a pro bono project, I rebuilt the site with modern features and proper security, then moved the club onto a hosting setup I manage myself, their domain, their website, and their email system, all running properly under their own name. I still look after all of it today, with updates, monitoring, security, and general technical support handled quietly in the background.

The goal is simple: give the club a stable, secure digital home so players, supporters, volunteers, and the wider community can always find up-to-date information about the team, without anyone at the club having to think about hosting, email, or security at all.

The Challenge

The club’s existing website was outdated and increasingly insecure, and they were running the club email through personal Gmail and Hotmail accounts, rather than their own domain, which was not ideal for ownership of their own communications or for looking professional as a club.

What I Did

I rebuilt the site with modern features and proper security, then brought everything under one roof: I now host the club’s domain, website, and email system myself, all set up and running properly under @londontitans.org. As a pro bono project, I also handle the ongoing side, updates, monitoring, security, and support, so the club never has to think about the technical side again.

Today

London Titans now has a secure, reliable website and proper email on their own domain. All hosted and looked after by me on an ongoing basis. Players, supporters, volunteers, and the wider community always have somewhere up to date to go for information about the team.
